विद्यालय स्तर पर रसोईया-सह-सहायक को विद्यालय शिक्षा समिति और विद्यालय के हेड मास्टर के द्वारा बहाल करने की जिम्मेदारी दी गयी है | इसलिए जो भी आवेदन करना चाहते हैं वो अपने नजदीक के स्कूल में जाकर हेडमास्टर से संपर्क करें |
उसी ग्राम पंचायत के निवासी हो, जिस ग्राम पंचायत के विद्यालय में रसोईया-सह-सहायक के रूप में कार्य करना चाहते है।
एक परिवार से एक ही रसोईया-सह-सहायक को कार्य पर रखा जा सकता है।
किसी संक्रमित/आसाध्य रोग से ग्रसित व्यक्ति को रसोईया-सह-सहायक के रूप में कार्य पर नही रखा जाएगा।
जनप्रतिनिधि यथा मुखिया, वार्ड सदस्य, सरपंच, पंच तथा आशा, आँगनवाड़ी सेविका/सहायिका इत्यादि के रूप में नियोजित विभिन्न योजनाओं में काम करने वाले महिला/पुरूष एवं विद्यालय के शिक्षक/विद्यालय शिक्षा समिति के अध्यक्ष/सदस्य के परिवार का निकटवर्ती सदस्य रसोईया-सह-सहायक के रूप में नही रखे जायेंगे।
मध्याह्व भोजन योजना अंतर्गत वर्ष 2010-11 के दिशानिर्देश के अनुसार समाज के कमजोर तबके यथा महिला (विशेषकर विधवा) अनुसूचित जाति, अनुसूचित जन जाति, अति पिछड़ा तथा पिछड़ा एवं अल्पसंख्यकों को प्राथमिकता दिया जाना है।
